If federal government offices are closed for a full day due to inclement weather, classes will not be held and the student or agency will not be charged for scheduled classes on that day. We encourage that instruction scheduled for any such day, be rescheduled at the mutual convenience of students and teachers.
When an "unscheduled leave/liberal/leave/delayed arrival policy” is declared, as determined and announced by OPM, a student’s failure to appear at the regular class time will authorize DLS to charge the student or their agency for the scheduled training. However, if the student and the instructor mutually agree to cancel or reschedule class prior to the start of the scheduled class time, DLS will not charge for those hours.
