DLS has years of experience developing professional instructional materials for both client and in-house use. Since 2007, DLS has supported the Defense Language Institute (DLI) in developing Tagalog, Pashto, and Dari Weekly Training Events (WTEs), which are online self-study lessons designed for military and government analysts. An extensive and proven quality control plan ensures the final product for every project is of the highest grade. In addition, DLS is developing the Pashto Post Basic curriculum for DLI. This curriculum is classroom- based instruction for students at level 2, 2+, and 3.

DLS has also worked on successful familiarization projects for DLI. Languages associated with completed projects include Pashto, Dari, Sorani (Kurdish), Indonesian, Kashmiri, Thai, Bengali, Gujurati, and Gan. Despite the demand of such projects, DLS has an excellent record of meeting deadlines while maintaining precise accuracy.
